Devotees increasing & enjoying by each Navratre at Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra, Jammu, India

VAN (Views Around News – Katra, Jammu) – Heavy rush of devotees is being witnessed at the Holy Cave Shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi with the number increasing with the passage of each Navratra. Around 1,42,921 pilgrims have  visited   holy town  Katra to pay obeisance  at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine during the ongoing Navratras.  
As per Yatra registration counter (YRC) Katra, on the fifth Navratra, about 19465 pilgrims performed darshan at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, taking the total number of pilgrims visiting the shrine during the five days to 1,42,921.
On fourth day of the Navratre Festival, about 31655 yatris had paid obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi ji Shrine.
The pilgrim arrivals during the first five days of this year Navratras has recorded an increase of 17288 as only 119168 pilgrims visited the shrine during the corresponding Navratra days last year.  District administration Reasi in collaboration with Tourism department and SMDSB have made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of Navratra festival 2015 by making additional facilities of drinking water, medicare, security etc. Meanwhile, Plays on Baba Jitto and wrestling competition would be held tomorrowas part of the ongoing Navratra festival celebrations.
