World Hindu Economic Forum (WHEF) is organising its 4th annual Hindu Economic Conference. The theme this year is – Collective Growth: Secure Future. It is scheduled to be held from 11 to 13 September, 2015, at Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel, London, UK.

The organizing committee tasked with putting together this global meet is chaired by an eminent Hindu entrepreneur based in London, Shri Anil Puri, Chairman of the Purico Group of Companies. Organising Committee comprises several other well regarded Hindu entrepreneurs from the UK.

In addition to the inaugural and closing sessions, five technical sessions and one Interaction Session have been planned. Technical Sessions include: 1. Global Economy and New Opportunities; 2. Business Scenario in Bharat & New Opportunities; 3. Raising Affordable Capital for Industry; 4. Exploring Emerging New Businesses; and 5. Encouraging Young Entrepreneur.

To promote the Hindu Economic Conference in London among the business community, WHEF will embark on a series of special sessions in West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Tamilnadu, and Gujarat in the month of July 2015. Similar special sessions will also be organised in Karnataka, Rajasthan, Maharastra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

These sessions will deal with the history and philosophy of Hindu economy, including the research by Prof Angus Madison of OECD on how the Hindus dominated the world economy till the 15th century and the reasons for its decline subsequently. To rebuild our economic prowess in the 21st century, we need to focus on knowledge and youth as they are the key economic drivers. With larger part of Hindu population being youth, there is an inherent but untapped potential.

WHEF wishes to be a facilitator, a catalyst that enables Hindus to cooperate and collaborate globally to create market access. Imminent launch of Hindu Business Network, is a step be WHEF in that direction. WHEF is also coordinating efforts to enhance credit availability not only to business, trade and industry but also to support budding entrepreneurs. The organisers invite all Hindu businessmen, traders, industrialists, bankers, technocrats, economists and professionals from the field of business and economy attend and participate in the 4th annual Hindu Economic Conference.

WHEF has been organising such annual Conferences since 2012. The earlier ones were held in Hong Kong, Bangkok and New Delhi in 2012, 2013 and 2014, respectively.
