Kashmiri Hindus perform special prayers for resettlement in J-K

may05v11Kulgam, May 05 (ANI): The displaced Kashmiri Hindus living in migrant camps in Kulgam held special prayers for their return to Kashmir Valley, decades after they were driven out by separatists. Scores of devotees assembled at ancient Ganesh temple in Kulgam, where they recited devotional songs and prayed for their rehabilitation. A Kashmiri Hindu, Jawahar Lal said that Hindus want to live with proper safety and security in the valley. Another Kashmiri Hindu, Sudish Kumar said that separate township would be better in terms of security of the Hindus in Kashmir. Hindus are divided over the government’s plans to resettle them in new townships in Kashmir Valley.
