RSS 3-day Annual meet of ABPS starts tomorrow at Nagpur for a Practical Hindu Rashtra

Focus on ‘Samrasta’, ‘Swadeshi’, ‘Gharwapsi’ and ‘Ban on Cow Slaughter’ towards a Practical Hindu Rashtra 

Annual meeting of Highest body of RSS, ‘Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha’ (ABPS) to be held on March 13-15 at Nagpur

RSS Annual MeetHENB | Nagpur | March 12, 2015:: Annual meeting of Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), highest body for policy formulation and decision making of Rashtreeya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), will be held on March 13, 14 and 15th, 2015 at Reshimbagh of Nagpur in Maharashtra.

RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat and Sarakaryavah (General Secretary) Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi will chair the 3 day proceedings. RSS Sarasanghachalak Mohan Bhagwat will inaugurate the ABPS meet on March 13th, Friday at 8.30am.

Representatives elected from RSS-Shakhas of all regions of the country, state level office bearers of RSS, National office bearers of Sangh affiliated (Sangh Parivar) organizations will attend all the three days of the meeting.

The election of a new RSS team will be held during a three-day meeting of Akhil Bhartiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the highest decision-making body of the organisation, beginning Friday. He said some new people are generally inducted into the team during the designated triennial conclave of ABPS. This year that election procedure will be conducted.

“The process of election is followed, like proposing a name which is seconded by two others, and if only one name is suggested, the person is declared elected for the post. But, there is no contest as such,” Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS Manmohan Vaidya told PTI yesterday.

Nagpur is the place of genesis of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in 1925. Last year the ABPS meet was held at at Rashtrotthana Vidyakendra at Thanisandra in Bengaluru.

Prominent leaders from Bharateeya Kisan Sangh (BKS), working for the farmers;  Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram (VKA), a tribal welfare organization;Akhil Bharateeya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) one of the biggest student organization of the country; Bharateeya Majdoor Sangh (BMS) a leading workers union; Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), a forum of Sadhus, Sants and Pontiffs; Bharateeya Janata Party, one of the two most important political parties of India; are attending the meeting.

Office bearers of Vidya BharatiVijnana BharatiKreeda BharatiSevabharati, Samskrita Bharati, Samskara Bharati, Laghu Udyoga Bharati as well as leaders from Rashtra Sevika Samithi, Swadeshi Jagaran Manch, Deendayal Samshodhana Samsthe, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shaikshanika Mahasangha, Dharmajagarana will be participaing in the conclave.

Several organizations with special focus like – Sakshama, working for the blind; Seema Suraksha Parishat,which is committed to boost confidence among people of border districts, Poorva Sainika Parishat, working among retired soldiers will be represented in the meeting.

Activities of all these orgainizations will be submitted in the meeting.  Statewise activities of the RSS will be reviewed. Important national issues will be discussed and necessary resolutions will be passed in the meeting.

Around 1500 Social workers of different walks of life from nook and corners of the country will be participating in the meeting.

The issues like ‘Samarasta’ (homogeneous naturality to eradicate untouchability), ‘Swadeshi’ (indigenous entrepreneurship and its wide acceptance) , ‘Gharwapsi’ (reconversion) and ‘Ban on cow slaughter’ are expected in agenda at prime focus this year.

RSS is the largest cadre based Hindu Organisation, believes in ‘Cultural Hindu Rashtra (Nation-State)’, is now propagating also a ‘Constitutional Hindu Rashtra’ in Bharat (India).
