“As the auspicious festival of Navratri begins, I convey my warm greetings to everyone. We bow to Maa Jagdamba and seek her blessings,” Modi tweeted.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished for the “good health” and “well—being” of the people of the country as the nine-day festival of Navratri began on Thursday.
“As the auspicious festival of Navratri begins, I convey my warm greetings to everyone. We bow to Maa Jagdamba and seek her blessings,” Modi tweeted.
“May Maa Jagdamba enrich our lives with strength, well-being, good health and may she keep inspiring us to serve the poorest of the poor,” said another tweet.
The Navratri festival, during which many Hindus fast for nine days, will end with Dussehra on October 3.
