After arriving in India post trouble from Pakistan after swearing that they will never return to Pakistan. Pakistani Hindu refugees got few clothes, here they were provided a temporary shelter by Govt. for homeless people, but were always bothered about the future. Now the Govt. is planning to settle them and provide permit for temporary accommodation. But local land mafia people and local folks are trying their best in uprooting them from the location where Govt. has provided land and refugee. Sometimes such miscreants misbehave with the sisters and mothers of refugees, sometimes they beat small children. Now where should these Hindu refugees go?

In 2012, around 33 families  left Pakistan after getting troubled for decades and first they used to live in tenets at random places, later Govt. of Rajasthan provided them a temporary shelter provided by Nagar Nigam, Jodhpur. For 35 families, 171 people such space was small and many women and girls had to sleep in presence of men and young boys. Also there were issues for sanitation and bathing. There were 171 people living in this temporary accommodation. Each family used to cook food for theirs in small tents. Later the group leader Chetan Ram requested local administration to provide a land for refugee, post which the local administration provided a space near Ward No. 62, Anganava Village, Pabuji Temple, Khasra No. 74, and allotted 33 land spaces for 33 families.

Now local people based out of Angnava Village are troubling these people, they misbehave with daughters, women and beat small children. They are requesting for local administration help.

Local Nagar Nigam has told them to complain to police for such harassment.
