VHP, Bajrang Dal activists stage protest

Rajouri, May 29: Right wing Hindu organisations today staged a protest in Rajouri and set ablaze the effigy of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, in protest against his remarks on abrogation of Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.

Vishaw Hindu Parishad district president Satpal Sharma , Bajrang Dal district president Karan Thakur and a large number of activists of these organisations assembled in Rajouri town and staged protest against Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
Protestors also set ablaze his effigy amid sloganeering against his remarks.

“Omar is befooling the people of state on the name of article 370 and is making an issue out of nothing”, they said adding that Omar Abdullah and his party have already lost ground in state and are now trying to revive from this issue. “Article 370 should be removed from the state as it will be the right step towards dealing with problems like unemployment”, the leaders said.
