Hyderabad: Thirteen-year-old M Poorna has conquered the world’s highest peak, Mt Everest, becoming the youngest woman ever to do so. Poorna and 17-year-old Anand, both from Telangana, scaled the peak on the same week which marks the 60th anniversary of Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay first conquering the mountain.
