The Hindu Baccalaureate Service — Dikshant Utsav — marks seventh year at 5 p.m. April 27 at the Joe Crowley Student Union, Ballroom C, the University of Nevada, Reno. Organized by Universal Society of Hinduism in collaboration with UNR Diverse Organization of South Asians, the ceremony will bless the graduating class in the traditional Hindu style, complete with applying tilak — a religious mark — on the foreheads of graduates. The ceremony will include a keynote address by a Hindu monk.
