Police refuse permission to Shivaji Jayanti procession under the pretext of implementation of code of conduct

Chandurbazar (Dist. Amaravati) : Birth Anniversary of Shivaji Maharaj (Shivajayanti) is on 19th March as per Hindu calendar. Police officer Tadavi has refused to grant permission to take out a procession on this occasion giving the excuse of imposition of code of conduct. (Will police dare to create obstacles in programs arranged by non-Hindus ? And had they done so, what would have been its repercussions ? Hindu Rashtra is necessary to bring about a change in this situation ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) He was speaking in a ‘peace committee’ meeting held here. He informed that precaution is taken to see that after 10.00 p.m. no suspicious persons are found on the road and it was being done for maintaining law and order in the city. In the ‘peace committee’ meeting, police officer, Tadavi indicated to take necessary action by keeping his belt on the table. (Police use such pressure tactics over only Hindus because there are mentally circumcised rulers in power.
