Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international working president Pravin Togadia launched the IndiaHealth Line (IHL), an initiative to provide health services to the needy at low cost, here on Sunday. “Through this, we are trying to connect patients with doctors willing to provide health services at nominal fee. Upon calling the number, our volunteers will get in touch with the patient, enquire about the condition and fix an appointment with a doctor,” he said. IHL call centre number 18602333666 will be operational in the city from Monday between 8 am to 8 pm. “After one week, we will launch the service in Nagpur, Pune, Delhi and other cities. Later, we will spread this programme to all districts in the country,” said Togadia.Already, more than 100 doctors in the city have volunteered to be part of the initiative, he said.

Besides this, the VHP chief said they will organise health education camps where people will be made aware of health issues so that complications can be prevented.
