Hinduism enters interfaith calendar of the city of Strasbourg

Interfaith calendar is distributed free in city halls

For the second year in a row, the city of Strasbourg has published a calendar that identifies and explains the seven major religions festivals

For the first time, Hinduism, strong of a community of 10,000 members in the CUS, made ​​its entry in the calendar with its symbols and celebrations very colorful.

Result of close collaboration between Buddhist, Hindu, Catholic, Jewish Orthodox, Protestant, Muslim, this calendar pulled 5,000 copies presents the main events and festivals of each religion with a little explanatory text. The photos were taken by photographer François Nussbaumer. Each month and is symbolized by a picture of religious holiday.
