Inauguration of Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha by lighting a Samai

Kalyan (Dist. Thane) : The land of Kalyan which has become holy due to visit of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was the venue of Hindu Dharmajagruti Sabha held on Vasudev Balwant Phadake Ground by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS). The ‘sabha’ was attended by 1200 devout Hindus.
Pujya (Kum.) Swati Khadye, Saint from Sanatan Sanstha lighted lamp in the beginning. Shri. Sanjeev Punalekar, advocate and national Secretary of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad and Shri. Sunil Ghanavat, State Coordinator of HJS from Maharashtra were present on the occasion. Shri. Kartik Salunkhe of HJS presented a review of HJS activities; besides explaining the purpose behind holding ‘Dharmajagruti Sabha’. Compeering of the ‘sabha’ was done by Kum. Priyanka Lone and Shri. Sumit Sagavekar.
Dharmaveer Shri. Dhananjay Ashtekar acquitted in Margao bomb blast case and Shri. Vikram Bhave, author of book titled ‘Malegaon Sphotamageel Adrushya Haat (Invisible hand behind Malegaon bomb blast)’ were felicitated by HJS on the occasion.
In the morning of 6th February, procession of vehicles was taken out for propagation of ‘sabha’ in which more than 60 devout Hindus including 40 two-wheelers and 3 four-wheelers took part. The procession started from Durgadi Fort, was concluded at the venue of ‘Dharma-sabha’ i.e. Vasudev Balwant Phadake Chowk. It created new divine consciousness amongst people of Kalyan.
