Panaji: The fourth all India Hindu convention or Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Adhiveshan, to be held in Goa from June 11 to 17 at Shri Ramnath Devasthan in Ponda, will discuss the establishment of a ‘Hindu nation,’ leaders of the Hindu Janjagruit Samiti (HJS) said.
The convention will focus on forming a nation-wide organization of Hindu organizations for the establishment of a ‘Hindu nation’, national guide of HJS Charudatta Pingale said. The meet will be attended by over 400 representatives of around 200 organizations from 21 states of India and also Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
Various programmes to safeguard the interests of Hindus and Hindu organizations were implemented based on the common action programme finalized at the last three conventions.
On June 12, 13 and 15 this year, separate meets will also be held to strenghten relations with Hindu associations in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal, Pingale said.
“To convert the demand of declaring the country a Hindu nation, a plan will be prepared at the convention at Ponda. During the last three conventions, Hindu organizations in Bharat and Nepal had come together and formed a good rapport. This has helped in implementing ‘Devbhumi Nepal Sahayyata Abhiyan’ which helped extend aid to the earthquake affected regions of Nepal. At the convention, an emergency plan to assist Hindus in times of natural disasters, riots etc. will be finalized,” Pingale said.
National HJS spokesperson Ramesh Shinde, Goa president of Hindu Mahasabha Shivprasad Joshi, Goa secretary of Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad Nagesh Takbhate and Sanatan Sanstha’s spokesperson Sandeep Shinde were also present.
“It is essential that pro-Hindutva ideologues unite. Therefore, a meeting of thinkers, writers, editors participating in the convention will be organized
to establish ‘Hindu Vicharvant Parishad’,” Sandeep Shinde said.
