To prevent denigration of Deities is Dharma-karya : Arun Nalawade

Hard slap to producers of cheap plays, who want to earn money by denigrating Deities, and fulfill their selfish needs ! 

HJS congratulates Nalawade for getting elected to the post of President !

Mumbai – To prevent denigration of Deities is Dharma-karya. We shall make all members of Censor Board aware of this by giving proper instructions. Activities of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) are commendable. We will extend cooperation for such activities. It will be our responsibility to see that there is no denigration of Deities through plays, stated Shri. Arun Nalawade, a senior actor and the President of Censor Board for plays when Shri. Shivaji Vatkar and Shri. Satish Sonar of HJS met him on 27thMay 2015 and explained to him about denigration of Deities taking place through plays. The other members of Censor Board viz. Shri. Ashok Samel, Shri. Vivek Garud and advocate Shri. Anand Deshpande were also given letters congratulating them on their appointment.   

Shri. Nalawade was given a letter congratulating him on his appointment as President, Sanatan’s books on Marathi language and ‘sattvika’ picture of Sri Ganesha. Shri. Nalawade was overwhelmed to see the picture and said that he had never seen such picture earlier.

Shri. Samel also responded positively. He has asked HJS members to inform him whenever denigration of Deities is observed in any play and has promised to stop it immediately. He also said that he would visit Sanatan’s Panvel ashram, along with Shri. Nalawade.
