PRESS INVITATION
Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti is engaged in the noble task of motivating people to donate their cadavers-organs in the Cause of Humanity after death. We have some 4000 registered donors. The Samiti has been able to obtain the donation of 105 full bodies to Medical Colleges in Delhi, 387 pairs of eyes, vital organs of two brain dead persons and bones of 2 donors.
The Samiti is organizing its 24th Deh Daniyon ka Utsav on Sunday, 10th of May 2015 at Jawahar Lal Auditorium, AIIMS, New Delhi 110 002.
• Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Union Minister for Science and Technology has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest;
• Dr. Saudan Singh, Director NOTTO shall give a power-point presentation on the subject;
• Acharya Roop Chand of Manav Mandir Mission, Delhi shall speak on the spiritual aspects of the donation;
• Dr. Lalita Makker, who donated the vital organs of his brain-dead father shall share her feelings;
• Pandita Rakesh Rani of Swami Dayanand Sansthan shall speak for the persons registering their donations on this day;
• The Samiti shall honor for significant contribution to this Cause (i) Prof. Mahesh Chandra Mishra, Director AIIMS, (ii) Dr. Vinay Agarwal, Former President, IMA and (iii) Shri Navnidhi Kumar Gautam of Gautam Foundation, Delhi who provides food and support to the attendants of patients at AIIMS.
The President of the Samiti Shri Alok Kumar, Advocate will preside.
