Kataras (Jharkhand) : On 6th May in the morning, a bus of ‘Saraswati Shishu Mandir’ left for Varanasi which will be used for transportation by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) in its drive for rehabilitation of quake-victims of Nepal. The bus will leave for Kathmandu after going to Varanasi where it will pick up group of volunteers. ‘Saraswati Shishu Mandir’ has made available its bus as also sponsored all expenses towards fuel. The driver and conductor of this bus will work as volunteers in this drive. Shri. Hariprasad Agrawal, the Chief Trustee of the school broke a coconut in front of the bus in the morning and Sou. Sunita Khemka a seeker of Sanatan Sanstha performed ‘puja’ of the vehicle for its purification. The driver of this bus was felicitated on the occasion by Shri. Pradeep Khemka, the President of the School and State Coordinator of HJS for Jharkhand whereas the conductor of the bus was felicitated by Shri. Vikram Rajgadia, the Secretary of the school. The bus was then shown green signal for going to Varanasi.
Participation of ‘Forum for Hindu Awakening (FHA)’
Kathmandu : Nepal branch of FHA has taken active part in the drive ‘Devbhoomi Nepal Sahayata Abhiyan’ undertaken by HJS in rehabilitation of quake-stricken people of Nepal. Kum. Sanu Thapa, representative of FHA for Nepal is collecting food-grains, medicines, funds and various items from donors in Nepal and Hong Kong for this drive. The group joining HJS drive will work in Nepal from 8th May to 16th May in disaster management. FHA will take active part even in this drive.
