Islamic bullying on Hindu Temple challenged. Hindu lawyers demand worship rights in Tajmahal as a Hindu Temple

Islamic bullying on Hindu Temples challenged. Actually, it was captured by Shah Jahan to make a tomb….

Hindu lawyers are going to Allahabad High Court for filing a PIL on the rights of Hindu prayer at Tajmahal as an ancient Shiva Temple, ‘Tejo Mahalaya’.

Tajmahal - Shiva TempleUpananda Brahmachari | HENB | AGRA | March 27, 2015:: Six lawyers in Agra, headed by veteran lawyer and Hindu ideologue Sri Hari Shankar  Jain  moved the Civil Court in Agra with the prayer to declare Taj Mahal a Shiva temple. The lawyers have made Lord Agreshwar Mahadev a party in their suit to claim the ownership of Taj Mahal. Sri Jain was also an advocate for the Hindu parties in Ayodhya Ramajanmabhoomi case also.

Lawyer Jain and his advocate friends had sought court’s direction to allow Hindus to start worship in Taj Mahal which they claimed is actually a Shiva temple. It also sought the removal of all the graves from the premise of Taj Mahal including the demand of worship of Lord Shiva by the Hindus in the designated seat of Shiva Khestra (place of Shiva). The suit demanded that the monument’s ownership be transferred to Hindus and Muslims be restrained from offering prayers there.

The suit claimed ownership for the building complex along with a building (claimed to be a masjid) towards the west and a replica building in the east, along with the garden, western, eastern and southern gates situated within a boundary wall over Khasra No. 12  measuring 77 bighas and four biswas.

The suit claimed the entire temple was the seat of Lord Agreshwar Mahadev Naagnatheshwar since time immemorial, and that the property belonged to the deity. It said: “The property in suit is not a burial ground and has never been so in the past. There exists no real grave in the entire suit property. The use of the suit property for purposes other than Hindu ‘pooja’ and worship of the deity is unlawful and has become unconstitutional since the enforcement of the Constitution. The deity is a perpetual minor under Hindu law. The property once vested in the deity continues to be the deity’s property and even the King could not have taken or transferred the possession of HIS property.”

But, the designated Court has dismissed the lawsuit claiming that Taj Mahal was a Hindu temple and its ownership should be transferred to the Hindu community. Lawyer for the plaintiffs Rajesh Kulshreshtra said that the court refused to entertain the petition and dismissed it on Thursday.

Now, petitioners of the case are going to Allahabad High Court for Justice. “We will now approach the Allahabad High Court and we are confident our PIL will be admitted on merit there,” Kulshreshtra said. The case is now tagged with a revelation of Hindu History of Tajmahal, believed as a Shiva Temple ‘Tejomahalaya’ a school of Historians and the restoration of Hindu Rights on Tajmahal.

The legend Indologist, History Revisionist and Hindu Philosopher, Shri  Purushottam Nagesh Oak presented the truth of Hindu History of Tajmahal, claiming it as a Shiva Temple with its original name – Tejo Mahalaya in his famous book, ‘The Tajmahal- A Temple Place‘.

In this book P N Oak claims that the Taj Mahal was originally a Shiva temple and a Rajput palace named Tejo Mahalaya seized by Shah Jahan and adopted as a tomb. He says that Mahal is a word to describe a royal palace and not a tomb and after seizure by Shah Jahan, the name was changed to Taj Mahal.

The Tajmahal, Oak says, is a “typical illustration of how all historic buildings and townships from Kashmir to Cape Comorin though of Hindu origin have been ascribed to this or that Muslim ruler or courtier”. He goes on to propose Hindu origins for the tombs of Humayun, Akbar and Itmiad-u-Dallah and “all historic buildings” in India as well as the Vatican, the Kaaba and Stonehenge.

The other reputed researcher and Vedic scholar on this topic Shri  Stephen Knapp annotated the matter with high definition and scholastic deliberations in many places. In the compilation, “Taj Mahal: Was it a Vedic Temple? The Photographic Evidences”. Knapp pointed out, “Taj Mahal, which is considered one of the great wonders of the world, was built as the preeminent expression of a man’s love for a wife. That it was built by emperor Shah Jahan in commemoration of his wife Mumtaz. However, is this a true story? So, in our continuous effort to get to the truth, we have acquired some very important documents and information. Regardless of what anyone thinks, there is some thoughtful information that indicates that the Taj Mahal was never built by Shah Jahan. Some say the Taj Mahal pre-dates Shah Jahan by several centuries and was originally built as a Hindu or Vedic temple/palace complex, and that Shah Jahan merely acquired it from its previous owner, the Hindu King Jai Singh. This is not unlike the many other buildings that were acquired by the Muslim invaders to be used for their own purposes. The point to consider is how much more of India’s history has been distorted if the background of such a grand building is so inaccurate.”

However, the matter has been created a stir in the secular arena of politics under a growing pressure of the saffron counterpart from all sides of Hindu exploration.
