Addressing the people who were gathered in lakhs Hartalkar said, You cannot change people’s beliefs with swords, politics and schemes. All Hindus, if you protect your religion the religion will protect you. Taking a dig at the state government and chief minister Siddaramaiah over the ban on Togadia he said, “I am thankful to the district president of VHP Suprasad Shetty for giving me this opportunity, but more than that, I should thank the chief minister of Karnataka, as Dr Pravinbhai Togadia was supposed to come, but now I have got the opportunity in his place. May god give him (CM) some sense.
He also stated that if father fails to follow pithr dharma, he will be in old age home. If mother fails to follow her mathr dharma, her daughter will fall prey to love Jihad. Hence we need to follow our dharma. When a complete Hindu family is formed there is no fear of love jihad.
Speaking on the occasion, seer of Pejavar mutt, Shri Vishwesha Teertha Swamiji said, the untouchablity needs to be eradicated from Hindu society. Hindus should determine to banish conversion, cow slaughtering and terrorism from the country.
