New Delhi : Krishnadev who hails from Jharkhand’s Giridh district will never be able to forget his religious trip to Ayodhya.
The poor man had gone to Ayodhya to pay homage to Lord Ram and was returning back when something ridiculous happened with him. Two men stopped him on his way and took lift from him. Next moment when he woke up he was crying out in pain as he had lost his eyesight.
Faizabad’s senior police officer B. Singh said that some goons attacked Krishnadev, took out his eyes and left him to die at the railway station.
He also said that a sub-inspector has been suspended for carelessness in the case.
Explaining the situation, the police officer said that some goons asked for a lift from Krishnadev who was returning back from Ayodhya. After some time they made him unconscious and took out his eye balls and threw them on the road.
With the help of local police, Krishnadev was rushed to the hospital and is undergoing treatment. He is now back in Jharkhand.
The investigation is on, the police has not been able to nab the culprits till now.
