Complaints filed against Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ in Hyderabad for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindu community

pkfilmHYDERABAD: A group of local BJP workers have filed a complaint with the police against the makers of Aamir Khan-starrer film ‘PK’ for hurting the religious sentiments of Hindu community.

Shyam Rao and others lodged the complaint with Langer House police yesterday seeking action against the director Raj Kumar Hirani and actor Aamir Khan for allegedly portraying the community in an objectionable manner.

A similar complaint has also been filed by advocate Karuna Sagar with Saroornagar police.

When asked if cases were registered following the complaints, Langer House police station’s inspector M D Javeed and Saroornagar police station’s inspector K Narsing Rao said they had only sought a legal opinion as of now.

The film presents a satirical take on the superstitions and the godmen.
