Recyling_clothesHere is the report for today’s Shakha:
1. Ma. Saumitra Ji has provided various suggestion for the future course of action that includes having activities for Bal-Sevaks (via Bal-Gokulam), celebrating Sangh’s four major festivals, visiting one of the Sewa projects during trip to Bharat with family, etc
2. We would like to humbly request to provide us with an opportunity to host Senior Swaym-Sevaks in Japan, to get further guidance. Probably during March-end or April 1st week as then we can also celebrate Hindu Nav-Varsh in Japan.
3. Last week we ran a collection driver for recycling clothes and today we could sent ~86kg of clothes to the Japan Relief Clothing Center, which will now distribute the collected clothes to the needy people in various parts of the globe.
4. Some Swayam-Sevaks have also participate in the cleaning activity in Akihabara which is Tokyo’s heart and hosting world’s biggest electronic market.
5. Our next Shakha will be on Dec-15 and will be held in Saitama prefecture (Goutam Ji, Rajesh Ji & Ashutosh Ji will lead this time)
6. We will be celebrating Netaji’s birth anniversary as “Patriotism day” on Jan-25 (actual date of Jan-23 but due to Sunday we selected Jan-25) and will also try to organize Blood-donation camp. This will also be participated by the Japanese followers of Netaji.
7. We are also planning to run collection drive to collect plastic-caps of pet bottles with local NPO (800caps will enable them to donate one vaccination in developing nations).
