Mangaluru: Arrest of Manoj – Hindu outfits warn govt against testing their patience

Mangaluru, Nov 4: A number of activists of various Hindu outfits, who held a mega protest demonstration at Suratkal against arresting Hindu Jagran Vedike leader, Manoj Kodikere under Goonda Act, expressed displeasure at the police department, which they said, was becoming a stooge in the hands of the government. He told the police force that they will come across strong resistance from the people if they try to crush the unity of Hindus by applying Goonda Act under the advice of the state government.

Leaders like advocate, Vasudev, Franklin Monteiro, state joint convener of Hindu Jagran Vedike, Satyajit Suratkal, addressed the protesters.

Bajrang Dal leaders, Sharan Pumpwell and Mahabala Poojary Kadambody, BJP leaders, Umanath Kotian, Subhash Padil, Jayaram Acharya and several others were present.
