Radha Krishna Hindu Temple opens in Germany’s Bielefeld 

radhamohanSri Sri Radha Krishna Temple has opened in Bielefeld in Germany after Kumbabishekam ceremonies. This Temple started construction in January 2013. It conducts daily poojas and recently organized Ganesha Chaturthi.
Besides sanctuary, it also plans to construct a cultural center to host discourses and music and dance events. Thiyagaraja Sarma Parameswaran Iyer is the Priest.

Meanwhile, distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada (USA) today, applauded efforts of temple management and area community for realizing this wonderful Hindu temple complex.
Rajan Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, further said that it was important to pass on Hindu spirituality, concepts and traditions to coming generations amidst so many distractions in the consumerist society and hoped that this new temple would help in this direction. Zed stressed that instead of running after materialism; we should focus on inner search and realization of Self and work towards achieving moksh (liberation), which was the goal of Hinduism.
Bielefeld has another Hindu temple also named as Sri Kalyana Thiru Murugan Temple.
Founded in 1214, Bielefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia state of Germany, is celebrating its 800th jubilee this year. Known for Sparrenburg Castle, it has a university and prominent people associated with it include film director Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau and actor Rolf Kanies. Pit Clausen is the Mayor.
