Mumbai, 16 July – Faraskhana police station’s staff is conducting investigations in bomb blasts that recently shook Pune. There was political pressure on Pune police in conducting inquiry into earlier blasts which took place in Pune. Leaders of NCP in power in Maharashtra tried to interfere in many cases for implicating pro-Hindu organizations. In next few months, there will be State Assembly elections in Maharashtra. This blast can be used for political gain and ‘Hindu Rashtra Sena’ can be implicated in this case. It is therefore, requested that to avoid such situation, an eye should be kept on the movements of Pune police and leaders of NCP. The above demand has been made by advocate Sanjeev Punalekar, Secretary of ‘Hindu Vidhidnya Parishad’ through a letter written to the Prime Minister, Central Home Minister and Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
