APMCC organises 3rd annual Mahayagya at Mata Katyayani Hindu Temple

Kakran(Kulgam) , July 07 (Scoop News)- Around two thousand Kashmiri Hindu devotees today thronged the ancient and historical temple of Mata Katyayani at village Kakran in Kulgam district on 3rd Annual Mahayagya organised by All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC) after reconstructing the four temples and a huge Dharamshala within the complex.
Kashmiri Hindus alongwith other Hindus from other parts of the country reached Katyayani temple on July 05 when the Mahayagya began while the Purna Ahuti was performed on July 07 where hundreds more joined them besides some dignitaries from the state and central administration.

According to King Bharati, National Spokesperson APMCC, the Katyayani Temple is like a jewel in the crown of APMCC achievements since 2005 as it is not only one of the biggest temples that APMCC has reconstructed, but is also the most beautiful one which has been expanded by initiating the construction of a huge Dharamshala within the complex adding the Kalhana Library was also in the pipeline..

Bharati who is the native of village Kakran said that APMCC also organising historical Kounsar Naag (Kramsar) yatra from Aharbal side this year after decades from July 30 to August 3, 2014 while the 6th annual Gangbal Yatra,will be held according to schedule from August 31 to Sept 4, 2014.

The dignitaries who visited the temple include RP Singh, MLA Delhi & national leader of BJP and incharge J&K, SL Bhat, IAS, Chairman PSC, Chief Eng R&B, Kashmir Mr Razdan and Chief Eng Mughal Road, Vimal Tikoo who appreciated the work of APMCC.

It may be recalled that the first Mahayagya was organised at Mata Katyayani temple in Kakaran village in October 2012 during which Murti Sthapna took place. The temple which was completely damaged was reconstructed by APMCC.

Prominent among those who attended the function include Capt Narayan Singh, the person who had originally constructed the new temple four decades back, Vinod Pandit,(President,APMCC), Yoginder Singh Jamwal, Usha Nakhasi, Mahinder Singh, Chand Ji Bhat, Ashok Singh, Manoj Bhat, Sohan Singh,Deepak Bhat (Pune), Shashi Ji, Manjeet Singh, Kuljeet Singh, Jagdish Singh, MK Razdan, Rakesh Pandita all of APMCC.

Among official dignitaries who attended include SSP Kulgam, CO 18 Bn CRPF, Addl DC Gandherbal Ravinder Bhat, DSP PN Tikoo, and other dignitaries.
