June 11: In Sangli, (Maharashtra), Freedom fighter Babarao Savarkar, the brother of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s memorial has been set to fire by unknown persons. This Memorial turns to dust after flames. This museum had a rare photograph of Freedom fighter Vinayak Savarkar, books, literature savarakar’s and conceptual writing ‘ve been destroyed.
This Memorial had 24-hour security. However, the security person was on holidays two days. Unknown Person took this opportunity to set a monument into the fire. Sangli municipal fire brigade was an hour trying to get the fire under control. Meanwhile, Suhas Joshi secretary of Memorial Committee has been appealed for peace.
