Municipality refuses permission to HJS for displaying ‘Vande Mataram’ board !

independence_day_037During elections, Municipality allows boards of candidates; then why should there be ban on board which explains meaning of national song ‘Vande Mataram’ ?

Mahad Municipality should be condemned for its anti-nationalism in the name of election code of conduct ! Concerned officers of Municipality will be asked to undertake rigorous spiritual practice as punishment in Hindu Rashtra !

Mahad (Dist. Raigad) : Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) has prepared a ‘flex’ board with national song‘Vande  Mataram’ along with its meaning. A devout Hindu sponsored to display this board; but municipality refused to grant permission giving excuse of election code of conduct. (If ‘Vande Mataram’ board cannot be displayed in India; should it be displayed in Pakistan ? By refusing permission, Mahad Municipality (MM) has trampled national sentiments of Indians. Now patriotic citizens need to unite and take municipality to task for bringing about change in this situation. – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)

  1. HJS activists met Shri. Deepak Zinjad, Chief Officer of MM and explained to him the purpose of displaying the board was that people should know complete meaning of the national song which generated self-respect amongst Indians during the period of dependence and inspired many freedom-fighters. There was no politics involved in the same.
  2. Even then, the Chief Officer refused permission and said that even if the board was displayed in private place, permission of owner of that place would have to be obtained. (Will it be wrong if somebody feels that the Chief Officer’s objection is only against boards displayed by Hindus ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
  3. In a letter given by him, he has said that he was not concerned about what was written on the board. (Then why permission was refused ? – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat) If there is objectionable matter written on the board, police would deal with the same; but he could not grant permission when election code of conduct was in force. (Why will police take objection to national song; but the Chief Officer wants to only create obstacles for Hindus. In Hindu Rashtra, there will be Government andAdministration that pays due honour to ‘Vande Mataram’ ! – Editor, Dainik Sanatan Prabhat)
